In a post on his Instagram Stories, Lil Tecca’s manager revealed that the rapper was hospitalized after he was injured stopping a robbery during Paris Fashion Week.
“Ig took my story down cause the song but tec gooooooood,” wrote Giuseppe Zappala, who manages Tecca. “He cut his hand saving me from 10 robbers. What a week it was. Still here, still guhd.” Alongside the message, he tagged the location as the Louvre Museum, and included a photo showing Lil Tecca in a hospital bed, as seen below.
Lil Tecca, who dropped his most recent album Dopamine last year, was in France for Paris Fashion Week. As videos circulating on social media showed, he attended the Rick Owens show last week. Further details about the alleged robbery have not been made public, but Zappala was seen with the rapper in Paris before he reportedly stopped him from getting robbed by ten individuals.
Outside of the release of his latest album, Lil Tecca also toured in support of Dopamine last year with a series of shows across Europe and North America. The 23-year-old rapper made his major label debut album when he was just 18 with the release of Virgo World in 2020.
Lil Tecca has yet to address his hospitalization.
