Kevin Gates Claims He’s Gone ‘Close to a Month’ Without Eating or Drinking Anything

Kevin Gates spoke about his experiences with fasting and claimed he once went three weeks without drinking or eating anything.

At around the 25:40 point of the Big Boy interview above, Gates said he was able to get into shape thanks to fasting, and broke down his techniques.

“Fasting is when you don’t put nothing in your body. Fasting is nothing. … But a dry fast is when you don’t eat or drink,” he said.

Big Boy asked him how long he dry fasts, and the rapper said “it depends.”

“The longest I’d done ever did dry fasting was like close to a month, about three weeks. No food, no water,” he said, to which Big Boy responded in disbelief. “When your cell breaks in half, it releases hydrogen. What do we breathe in?” Big Boy replied, “Oxygen.” Gates then said, “Hydrogen to oxygen is what? We create our own water.”

Big Boy said he was going to take Gates’ word for it, who added “please don’t” before running through the aforementioned points again. “I’m really a genius, but I just don’t be trying to just broadcast that to the world. ’Cause everybody, you know, they be like, ‘Man, he just used a bunch of big words.’ No, you just a stupid ass, bitch ass n***a. ’Cause a smart person could be dumb, but a dumb person can’t be smart. So fuck you.”

Dry fasting can lead to dehydration and kidney problems among other health issues, and individuals should consult doctors before engaging in fasting.

On the hydration front, Gates’ latest admission comes after he revealed he’s a fan of women urinating in his mouth. “I love for a woman to piss in my mouth. That’s beautiful,” he said in an appearance on the Fancy Talk Show podcast. ““I had a woman pee in a cup while we were driving and I drunk it. Because it was nothing—I was so infatuated with this woman to where it was just nothing about her that was nasty. And then, she’s super clean. She like me. She drink nothing but water all day, so, her piss ain’t got no taste.”

It’s unclear if Gates abstained from urine while fasting, or if he allows himself to have a little treat every now and then.
