Kendrick Lamar Narrates Gatorade’s Latest Ad Campaign Honoring Its History

The new commercial features appearances from Caitlin Clark, Jayson Tatum, and Luka Dončić.

Kendrick Lamar has partnered with Gatorade to be the voice of its new advertising campaign.

As reported by Bloomberg, the Grammy Award-winning rapper narrates and soundtracks the latest commercial for the popular sports drink brand. The ad is the start of what is set to be "one of the biggest marketing campaigns ever for Gatorade," and it features a stacked lineup of athletes. Among those featured in the commercial, which is set to K Dot's "Peekaboo," are Caitlin Clark, Jayson Tatum, and Luka Dončić.

The campaign will debut during the NBA Playoffs this weekend and focuses on the backstory of Gatorade, which was created by a team of scientists at the University of Florida in the '60s.

"How much are you willing to lose?" K Dot says in a voiceover in the commercial. "Take the '65 Gators. Losing steam. Losing players. Losing sweat. The solution? A drink that hydrates better than water. So they can work more. Sweat more. 'Cause when you do that, you can surpass the hype. You can inspire generation after generation. You can compete against anything. Even gravity. Expectations... or even yourself. So how much sweat are you willing to lose? That's how you know how much you're willing to win."
