During an appearance on Sole Collector's Full Size Run, Just Blaze shared a humorous anecdote about Joe Budden's "Pump It Up." Speaking with co-hosts Trinidad James, Matt Welty, and Brendan Dunne, Just Blaze said the 2003 song, which he produced for Budden, was originally about masturbation.
"Do you know the original version of 'Pump It Up' was about masturbation?" Just Blaze said at the 2:16 mark. "You know how in the second verse he's like, 'My jump off doesn't care if I go out so much. My jump off...' Originally it was, 'My hand doesn't worry if I go out so much. My hand doesn't worry about... My hand...' That's a fun fact."

Taken from Joe Budden's self-titled album, "Pump It Up" counts as his highest-charting single, peaking at No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100. Just Blaze has said in the past that the beat was offered to Beanie Sigel, Freeway, and JAY-Z before it got to Budden. The song received attention again in 2016 when Drake referenced it to diss Budden on the French Montana collaboration "No Shopping."
