Harry Styles was one of the 37,000-plus runners who took part in the 2025 Tokyo Marathon, and on his part, he put in an impressive performance.
As detailed by the marathon's online records, the musician and actor finished at a respectable 6,010th place in the 26.2-mile marathon with a finish at three hours and 24 minutes, keeping an average pace of approximately 7:47 per mile of the race. In comparison, the first-place winner Tadese Takele clocked in at two hours, three minutes, and 23 seconds. As reported by GQ, Styles ran the marathon in the Nike Alphafly 3 sneakers.
Videos circulating on social media showed fans supporting Styles at various points of the marathon. In one clip, which can be seen below, he responded to fans by smiling and putting up a peace sign.
The 31-year-old former One Direction member has been on something of a break from the public eye in the past year or so, outside of a few appearances at award shows. The last time he was in front of the camera was in the pair of 2022 movies Don't Worry Darling and My Policeman, which arrived around the same time as his most recent solo album, Harry's House.
It's unclear if he's working on new material or if he's enjoying his time away from the spotlight a bit, but at least he's getting those steps in!
