Following accusations from her sister that she’s been neglecting her family, GloRilla shared a screenshot of alleged messages she received from her mother thanking her for her support.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, GloRilla posted a screenshot that showed her mother, who she has saved in her contacts as Ma Nem, showing her appreciation for her daughter. “Thank you so very very much!!!” she wrote in the messages. “Really didn’t want to ask because you already do so much for us. I thank you so very much for all that you do. I don’t take it for granted at all!”
In the follow-up message, she continued to show her appreciation. “I really do love and appreciate you so very much!” she wrote. “God bless you for your honor, respect, kindness, and love shown to me! You’re such a blessing to me. When I become a millionaire, I GOT YOU!!! Meanwhile I’ll prayerfully keep you in God’s hands continually.”
The post comes not long GloRilla’s sister, Victoria Woods, called her out in a series of posts suggesting that she’s not supported her family, especially their mother. “Y’all think she this upright ass person when she really not ain’t fwu since she got on and I’m constantly getting acknowledgment for being her sister and she ain’t fwu at all,” she wrote in a Facebook post, which can be seen below. “Our parents are not straight!! Our dad just borrowed $100 from our mom y’all think y’all know shit but don’t !! I had to give my mom $18000 on a $24000 rent cause y’all favorite rapper blocked her!!”
In a video, she added that their mother is “still working at FedEx.”
GloRilla, who was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, has continued to gain success in the industry. She’s mostly kept her familial life private, but with her sister airing out their issues, that could change.
