In a move no one expected, Drake joined viral sensation the Dabbing Granny for an Instagram Live stream. Real namne Gail Olson, the Dabbing Granny was streaming on the social media platform on Wednesday when she received a request to initiate a joint stream from Drizzy himself. At first she didn't believe it was him, but she realized it was the real deal when she caught a glimpse of his smile.
"Your smile lights up the room, I'm sure your mom told you that," she said on her stream.
"Well thank you. Yeah, my mom always told me to smile in pictures, and I was always self-conscious about it back the day," he replied. "But now it's too many great things going on, I have to smile once in a while."
During the stream, Drake also reiterated that he has been working on the follow-up to 2018's Scorpion. "You know it's so funny, you're waking up and I'm going to sleep," he explained. "I just left the studio, I'm working on a new album." When asked when it was coming out, he played coy and said, "When it's done, we'll see. Hopefully soon, right?"
