But he added, "I know people are thinking about it."

Donald Trump has been asked whether he would consider pardoning Sean Diddy Combs if he's convicted in his sex trafficking and racketeering trial, and he didn't appear to rule it out.

As reported by USA Today, on Friday, May 30, Trump was asked by Fox News Reporter Peter Doocy if he would consider a pardon for Diddy if he's convicted in his federal trial in New York. "Well, nobody's asked," he said. "I know people are thinking about it." He clarified that he hadn't spoken to Diddy in years, despite being photographed with him many times, and suggested that maybe the Bad Boy Records founder distanced himself from him following his career in politics.

He said that it wouldn't have an impact on whether he pardons him, though. "If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me," he said.

It was recently reported that Diddy's close associates are working on trying to secure a potential pardon from Trump if the trial doesn't go his way. According to sources close to the situation, many people familiar with Diddy are "making connections with the Trump team" to better their chances of a presidential pardon.

Suge Knight, the former rival of Diddy, also suggested that he believes that Sean Combs will "be all right" and could "probably" get a pardon from Trump if convicted. So there's definitely been some talk about it, despite there being no immediate end in sight for the trial, one of the most intensively covered in recent history.

Meanwhile, the second alleged victim in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial took the stand on May 29, sharing emotional accounts of repeated sexual abuse and mistreatment.
