DJ Jazzy Jeff kicked off his Break the Monotony Block Party on Instagram Live today with performances from some highly respected DJs in the world of hip-hop.

The stream was first announced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Fresh Prince of Bell-Air sitcom, which starred his collaborator Will Smith. To coincide with the announcement of the live streams, he also shared a small collection of clothes via the Fresh Prince online store.

Among those set to perform as part of the virtual block party is Jazzy Jeff himself, DJ Clark Kent, DJ D-Nice, and Just Blaze, among others. A percentage of the profits generated from the stream will go towards No Kid Hungry, a charity that helps provide healthy meals for at-risk children.

"It’s humbling to see how The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and our music has transcended time and continued to shape pop culture," DJ Jazzy Jeff said in a statement regarding the release of the merch. "Between this new collection and the block party, I hope we can come together during these trying times, celebrate culture, put smiles on people’s faces and raise money for an important cause."

Check out the full line-up for the block party below alongside links to each of their Instagram streams.
