Following the release of her long-awaited second studio album, Am I the Drama?, Cardi B appeared on Call Her Daddy and discussed some of the rumors surrounding her, even addressing a particularly ridiculous one.
"Some rumors are a little dark, and some rumors are like, 'Be for real,'" she said around the 8-minute point of the podcast, which can be seen above. "Like, there's a rumor that my boyfriend dumped me because my BBL stink. And it's just like... the way this ass be getting eaten, it can't be... I'm very anal about how I smell. I don't know who made the rumors that BBL's stink, but it's like... it doesn't stink."
She then continued to question why anyone would believe the notion that Brazilian butt lifts would smell at all. "How would a BBL stink if you don't got no open wounds?" she said. "Why? 'Cause your ass is fatter? You can't clean a fat ass? You don't know how to clean a fat ass. I do. And let me tell you something.... If you get fucked in the ass, I know how to do that shit, too. You can't even play with me... Like, be for real."
She said that she joked about it with her ex when she first heard the rumor. "I heard you left me 'cause my BBL stink," she laughed.
Recently, the first-week sales projections for Cardi B's new album arrived, and it appears that it could surpass 100 million total streams in its first week of availability. It's projected to move between 125,000 and 150,000 album-equivalent units, and it was already certified platinum by the RIAA after one day of release thanks to the inclusion of "WAP" and "Up."
