Boosie Badazz has been critical of Gunna ever since he accepted a plea deal in the highly publicized YSL RICO case. Now the Baton Rouge MC has emphasized he still wouldn't team up with the Gunna even if he was offered $1 billion.
"If somebody gave you a billion dollars, no tax, would you do a song with Gunna?" a paparazzo for TMZ recently asked Boosie.
"No tax?" he replied. "I don't want to talk about a rat. ... No, I ain't even gonna say, I might incriminate myself, I don't wanna say it. ... I don't wanna incriminate myself, what I would do with a billion dollars. I don't wanna incriminate myself, what I would do to a rat if they gave me a rat to do business with a billion dollars. ... They got a lot of Gunnas in this sewer. We in New York City, I see about three Gunnas right now. One just went under the sewer! Go find him, they all over here."
Boosie's comments come as Gunna made his dramatic return with "Bread & Butter," his first proper single since he was released from jail in December. The track sees him address the seven months he spent behind bars and the allegations that he snitched on his YSL associates.
"Never gave no statement or agreed to take no stand on ’em/Whatever you n***as on, then trust me, I’mma stand on it," he raps on the song. "Lawyers and that DA did some sneaky shit, I fell for it/On my P’s and Q’s because this time I be prepared for it.”
Gunna and his frequent collaborator Young Thug were named in a sweeping RICO indictment last year alongside over two dozen YSL associates. The defendants were accused of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Gunna accepted an "Alford plea" in the case, allowing him to accept responsibility for his alleged criminal activity while maintaining his innocence.

His release from jail was met with mixed reactions. Boosie was among those to accuse Gunna of snitching on his YSL associates. "Think Gunna might be done, unless he go to, probably, another country," Boosie said last month. "I really hope he never sells another record again." Lil Durk has criticized Gunna, too, and suggested that the Atlanta rapper "told" as part of his agreement. "If you a rat, you a rat."
Gunna's attorney Steve Sadow also shot down the snitching allegations in a statement shared on Instagram. “Gunna did not snitch to get out of jail,” Sadow wrote. “He has said nothing and is not cooperating. His plea statement cannot be used in court against any other defendant. So please stop spreading lies.”
