Billie Eilish Opens Up About Why She Keeps Her Relationships Private

Despite being one of the most popular pop stars in the world, Billie Eilish has wisely decided to keep her personal life a secret from her fans. In a recent interview on Capital Breakfast radio, Eilish revealed why she has chosen, in particular, to keep her relationships as private as possible.

"I definitely want to keep that private," the five-time Grammy-winner said when asked if she would ever go public regarding her love life. "I’ve had relationships and kept them private, and even the ones that I’ve had, and the tiny amount that I’ve let the world see, I regret. So, I can’t even imagine."

In the past, Eilish has been outspoken about how she wants to keep some things to herself, previously highlighting how weird it was that people were obsessed over her fashion sense.

Explaining her stance on revealing her relationship status to her fans, she also pondered the struggle of breaking up with someone publicly.

"I think about it sometimes. I think about the people that have made their relationships OD public, like, you know what I’m talking about?" she said. "And then they break up, and it’s like, ‘What if it goes bad?’ And then everybody has this whole opinion on your relationship that they have no idea about. It’s very much not something I’m interested in. "
