Azealia Banks wants Taylor Swift to hit back at the artist formerly known as Kanye West after he made an outlandish claim on social media.
In a since-deleted tweet earlier this week, Ye claimed that Swift—with whom he has a history of trolling—had a threesome with two other popstars. "I'll show you an example of racism," he wrote in the vulgar post. "Justin Bieber and Harry Styles fucked Taylor Swift from both sides and didn't call me. Oh I forgot. I can't hold water. ON EVERYTHIIING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE."
The post, like many of Ye's other provocative and frequently offensive posts over the past few months, prompted a lot of reactions from netizens. Among them was Azealia Banks, who said she thinks Taylor Swift should respond.
"Omg when is Miss Taylor just going to get this f****ooot bitcccchh," she wrote alongside a quote tweet of Ye's claim. "Omg he's been fucking with her for YEARSSSSS lmaoooo. TAYLOR snatch this shoe boot wearing n***a out the socket. I promise no one will give you backlash about being racist just because he's black and ashy ... UGH, I know she spares his black ass so much because she's not wanting to deal with some backwards scrutiny about being a white lady and Kanye knows that and it's so fucking gay and pussy. Taylor just get his ass pleaaaaaaase lmaoooo. Do it for all us black girls he steals from all day PLEEEEASSTHHEEE *mike Tyson lisp*."
Politically incorrect as her tweet might be, Banks isn't wrong about Ye constantly trying to provoke Swift. Their history has been complicated ever since the infamous 2009 MTV VMAs moment, later turning into a friendship before souring again with the release of his song "Famous" and its controversial video, which depicts a wax figure of her naked in a bed alongside controversial figures such as Donald Trump and Bill Cosby.
A source told British tabloid The Daily Mail that Swift has filed a cease and desist letter against Ye for the "false" and "defamatory" post. The same report claimed that Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is furious about the comments and wants to confront Ye. She hasn't directly responded on social media, and it's also unclear if Swift has actually taken legal action.
