ASAP Rocky playfully avoided answering a paparazzo's question about when fans will get to hear his highly anticipated new album, Don't Be Dumb, during Paris Fashion Week.

"Don't do me like that," Rocky said with a smile on his face when asked about the long-awaited album, which he has been teasing since as early as 2022. "Listen, don't make me do that right now, man. You gonna get me beat up out here, bro. They looking, they on my head, bro. 'Cause of questions like that! I can't even... I gotta go."

Rocky announced last year that Don't Be Dumb was scheduled to be released in August 2024, but he later announced that it was delayed due to sample clearances and various leaks.

In 2023, he teased that the album would feature production from the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Madlib, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, Alchemist, Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, and Clams Casino.

Last month, Rocky said the album is "done" and compared it to a "gourmet meal," but he still hasn't revealed a release date.

"The truth of the matter is fans, they're starving,” Rocky said in an interview with Samuel Hine for GQ. “And I don't think that any of us—it's numerous artists, Frank Ocean, Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Rihanna, whoever. I think those people who really take their time to put out timeless pieces, projects and bodies of work, that’s all that matters. I don't think they're putting out music to stay relevant, to stay culturally relevant, to stay with the times, or just to have a dick swinging contest.”
