On Saturday (Oct. 20), news broke that Ashanti had canceled one of her upcoming shows, with Bossip reporting that the event had only sold 24 tickets. The singer was scheduled to replace Teyana Taylor at Stony Brook University’s Back To Brook event after the G.O.O.D. Music signee dropped out. With almost zero promotion and the wrong target demographic, the show was doomed to fail.

Of course, 50 Cent, as usual, is having a field day with the news. "I thought I told everybody not to fuck with this fool," he wrote on his Instagram, which he claimed he was quitting a few weeks ago due to censorship. "I want the names and socials of everybody who bought a ticket now," he jokingly added.

With Fiddy's feelings on Ashanti's frequent collaborator Ja Rule pretty clear, it's not hard to see why he's going in on her over Instagram. Whenever there's an opportunity to clown anyone who he's not fond of, he'll take it regardless of the context. There's little doubt he'll find something to say when Ashanti and Ja Rule's untitled collaborative project makes its way out.

Following the cancellation, Stony Brook University released a statement, "As an organization, we do our best to host programs for students while providing diversity and inclusion. However, we have struggled to execute certain aspects. With only a week before the concert, only 24 tickets were sold to students."
