Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Slim 400, TMZ reports.

A man and a woman were arrested on Thursday following a search warrant from authorities, the publication shares, but their names or connection with Slim have not been revealed. The reported arrests come six months after the musician was fatally shot in Los Angeles back in December. The shooting took place in Inglewood, California, and Slim was later pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital on Dec. 8.

TMZ has since shared footage of the incident on a Ring camwhich shows a suspect approaching Slim in a driveway and shooting him multiple times as he attempted to stop the situation.

Many of Slim’s peers took to social media to sent love to him and his family late last year, including Ty Dolla Sign, Mozzy, and others. Ty posted an image of him alongside Slim, featuring the caption “Longlive$lim,” while longtime friend YG decided to pay a more permanent tribute to the late MC. In February, he showed off some of his ink, including a new portrait of him tattooed on his leg. A portrait of Slim in a bandana is appropriately placed right below his massive red number “4” with the word “hunnid.”

“Brazy blood, love you P Treez,” YG wrote on his Instagram Stories.
