Justin Bieber’s Justice World Tour has seen its fair share of postponements. Initially planned to support his 2020 effort Changes, and later pushed due to the pandemic and restructured to support 2021’s Justice, the tour is now seeing a slight road bump just two days after its opening night in San Diego.
Bieber’s second tour date, scheduled for Sunday night in Las Vegas, has been pushed to June 28, following “positive Covid results within the Justice Tour family,” according to a statement shared by the official Instagram page of the tour.
“Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority,” the statement read.
Now, TMZ reports that Bieber himself has come down with COVID-19, with a rep confirming to the publication that the pop star is “feeling OK” following his first performance. His next scheduled performances are Feb. 22 in Glendale, Arizona and Feb. 24 at the Forum in Los Angeles, and it remains unclear whether these dates will go on as planned or will see a push back given Bieber’s reported positive test.
As for the tour itself, opening night seemed to run relatively smoothly, with the majority of tracks performed being from his recent No. 1 album. JB’s career-spanning set list also featured some Journals gems, tracks like “Boyfriend,” and of course, “Baby.”
