Just as his Certified Lover Boy numbers are looking monumental, Drake knows that he, too, is looking pretty good. Even if he’s not looking at himself.
On Monday, likely in between celebrating having the No. 1 album in the country for yet another week and investing in some hot chicken, Drake took to his Instagram Stories to commend his appearance, with a photo of someone else.
“I look good AF right here,” Drizzy wrote on top of a photo of fellow Canadian hitmaker Nav. “Good morning world.”
The post was, of course, a joke, alluding to the fact that somebody out there may think the two look similar. But nobody else in hip-hop is putting numbers on the board the way Drake has been with CLB—the still-No.1 album earned 236,000 equivalent album units during its second week on the Billboard 200, bringing its total to 849,000 units earned. The LP brought Drake the biggest week of any album since Taylor Swift’s 2020 Folklore, with 613,000 equivalent album units in its debut week.
And as for its individual Certified Lover Boy tracks, Drizzy was able to land nine of the top 10 slots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during his first week of streaming, an achievement never touched before.
