Nearly three years after the release of his critically acclaimed LP Zuu, Denzel Curry is back with his fifth studio album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

The Florida spitter’s latest effort sees some love from the Sunshine State and beyond, with features from T-Pain, Robert Glasper, 6lack, Rico Nasty, J.I.D., Jasiah, 454, slowthai, and more. Production on the record comes from Kenny Beats—who last worked with Zel on 2020’s Unlocked—Dot da Genius, JPEGMAFIA, Thundercat, and more.

The 14-track-album features previous singles in “Troubles,” “Walkin,” and “Zatoichi,” and upon those releases, he spoke about the influences of the new record, which features a few unfamiliar faces outside of Curry’s collaborative circles.

“I like traditional hip-hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry, so a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house,” Curry previously shared of what to expect. “This album is made up of everything that I couldn’t give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”

Just last week, Zel launched “Troubles” alongside a video to match, starring Tallahassee Pain himself. And he also revealed he’ll be hitting the road this spring and summer, starting April 1 in Denver, for a world tour that touches down in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
