As you sit down today to reflect on the things you're thankful for from this past year, remember all of the parties, festivals, and raves you've hit. Remember the guys behind the decks? The ones who provided all of the slamming beats... yeah, those guys and girls. Think about their schedules; maybe many of your favorite DJs are hitting the club in some far-off land right now, unable to chop turkeys and celebrate with their loved ones. DAD decided to hit up some of our favorite DJs and find out what they were thankful for this year. Answers vary, but know one thing: our favorite selectors are very appreciative of the lives they are making for themselves. DAD salutes the DJ, as you're truly one thing that we're ALWAYS thankful for.

"Thanksgiving shouldn't be the only time that we, as musicians (or human beings in general), should be expressing our gratitude. There is so much to be thankful for every single day, but right now I wanna give a special thanks to certain people and groups that have helped me get to where I am as a producer and DJ today. First off, I want to thank my friends who have constantly been supportive of my music. Even though not all of them might not be the biggest fans of the all the stuff I'm producing, they still listen, critique with an open mind and make it out to all my shows. I'd also like to thank my girlfriend for believing in me and supporting me since the minute I decided that this is my passion and this is what I want to do as a career. She's always been honest and extremely patient and I can't ask for anything more than that. She also does all my artwork and does one hell of a job at it! I also want to thank all the blogs for all the support, reposts, write-ups, and love they've shown. As upcoming artists, we know how hard it could be to get our records out to the masses and we should always be thankful for those that believe in us and help us get there. Lastly, I'd like to thank my parents. Not only for being supportive, but I want to thank them for putting me through piano lessons for earlier six years of my life, where I developed my real love for music. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be able to do any of the stuff I'm doing today. Stay humble and stay thankful. Happy Thanksgiving all!"
