Lorde apparently really enjoyed watching Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee get it on.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the New Zealand singer-songwriter, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, revealed that she once watched the famous 1995 Anderson and Lee sex tape in its entirety while undergoing a psychedelic therapy session.

The 28-year-old said she didn’t know why she searched for that particular tape during her trip, but what she saw wasn’t just the couple having sex—it was "two people that were so in love with each other."

"I found it to be so beautiful...I watched it, but I saw two people that were so in love with each other, and there was this purity," she told the publication. "They were jumping off this big boat.… They were like children. They were so free. And I just was like, ‘Whoa. Being this free comes with danger.’"

The tape Lorde is referring to was recorded during Anderson and Lee's honeymoon in Mexico over 30 years ago. It was stolen and sold, which led to the couple's infamous scandal. The two divorced not long after, in 1998.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lorde opened up about her struggles with an eating disorder, coping with a breakup after a years-long relationship, and more. She also revealed that her way of managing stage fright includes MDMA and psilocybin therapy, a form of PTSD treatment.

"It made me realize how much I love and kind of need that very deep, visceral response to feel my music," she said.

Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter is gearing up for the release of her new album Virgin, which drops on June 27.
