Back in 2004, Turk of Hot Boys saw his career hit a massive wall when he got into a gunfight with a Memphis, Tenn. SWAT Team. A year later he would be sentenced to more than a decade in prison after pleading to the shooting of one of the officers involved in the incident, among other charges.
And today, nine years after his bid began, Turk has officially been released. He is reportedly writing a book called The AutoThugography of Turk and recording new music. He also has a screenplay, Reckless, in the works.
