DaBaby Joins YG for "Stop Snitchin" Remix Video

The rising rapper teamed up with YG for a remix.

DaBaby fits in just about anywhere. We've already seen him connect with Offset, 21 Savage and Megan Thee Stallion. However, his latest collab is the farthest afield we've seen the "Suge" rapper travel, teaming up with diehard Best Coaster YG for the "Stop Snitchin'" remix.

The pair cross over together into another realm, the Soundcloud-adjacent world of effects-filled Cole Bennett videos. Bennett keeps things as straightforward as the song's repetitive mantra, occasionally flashing grayscale and animations but mostly riding on the charisma of the two beloved acts.

While DaBaby loves getting in the studio with other rappers, he's been a bit prickly about anyone who isn't looking to lay down a track. DaBaby has seemingly thrown hands with quite a few people who got into his personal space. He even turned one incident into merch. And the titular snitch gets more of the same, with YG and DaBaby celebrating as they knock a narc out and steal his belongings. DaBaby shows up for an ultra-quick verse but both artists know the point of the song: the hook. They serve it up over and over again as the video cuts between dancing scenes.

It's a far cry from the original "Stop Snitchin'" video, which followed a group of slaves attempting to escape from an antebellum plantation and featured a few sections of YG rapping while hanging from a tree.

Take a look at the video up top and check out where DaBaby lands on our ranking of all of rap's babies.
