Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar gave the hip-hop nerds what they wanted when they teamed up for "Wow Freestyle" on Rock's Redemption. But music fans are like the proverbial mouse with a sweet tooth. You can't just let them sample something without them wanting more. Luckily for everyone, Jay Rock seems ready to deliver.
In a recent Twitter Q&A, Jay Rock revealed that he might have a full collaborative project with his TDE labelmate in the can. When a fan asked if Jay and K Dot had any plans to do an entire album together, Jay let it slip that it might already exist.
"We Might Already Have A Full Project," he wrote.
Jay Rock was equally chatty about other TDE projects, leading fans to expect new Isaiah Rashad and new tracks from himself in the coming months. When a fan asked where Rashad had been, Jay said that he's in the booth.
"[Isaiah is] in the studio creating that TDE Magic," he wrote.
When another fan asked if we could expect more hits from Rock over the summer, he told them to "Stay Tuned In!"
The takeway is keep your eyes on TDE,as always. It seems like the mini-empire has a few irons in the fire.
