August Alsina is more than aware of the rumors that he's seeing Jada Pinkett-Smith, and he's treating the gossip with the exact amount of seriousness it deserves. The R&B singer posted a photo of his own puffy face, joking that Will Smith caught up to him and laid down a whupping.
"A glimpse of my mood and everyday life during allergy season," he originally captioned the photo. "Everything on me is so swollen. I'm really trying to do music shit for y'all but my allergies are trying to take me out."
After several fans connected his swollen face to the rumors, Alsina swapped out the caption to play along with the jokes.
"Will finally caught up to me about all that Jada crap that was going on in the news," he wrote. "Let’s just say, he whooped my axs!! Guess that ALI training really paid off."
Rumors have swirled about a potential affair between Alsina and Pinkett-Smith since the release of his "Nunya" video. The visuals contain text messages to a woman named Koren (Jada's given middle name), which prompted fans to dig deeper into their ongoing friendship and posts like this one.
However, they both maintain that they are nothing more than close friends.
