A Detroit mansion owned by Aretha Franklin has been sold by her estate.

According to the Detroit News, the late singer's brick home near the Detroit Golf Club sold for $300,000 last month. The 5600-square-foot home was built in 1927 and was purchased by Franklin in 1993. Franklin's estate reports the mansion was the last property the singer owned in Detroit.

"There are no other Detroit properties,” estate representative Sabrina Garrett-Owens told the paper.

Franklin does own one more property by the Detroit area that is currently up for sale. A 4,148-square-foot Colonial-style home in Bloomfield Township is on the market with an asking price of $800,000.

The legendary soul singer passed away at the age of 76 in her apartment along the Detroit riverfront in August after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Since that time, her estate has been figuring out how to divide and potentially sell her assets. Franklin left no will, leaving her four sons to figure out how to handle her homes and wealth. The Associated Press reported that it might take years to find and divide those assets.

At her star-studded funeral, Franklin's friend Ron Moten warned the sons to be wary of outsiders while they adjust to managing their late mother's estate.

“Remember your family, and friends that have been with you for years,” Moten said. “Because you are about to meet a lot of people who will now want to be your new best friend. You will also meet some people that will have the best investments in the world for you. My advice? Go slow, be careful and be smart.”
