Ye is doubling down on his hatred for J. Cole.
In a new series of tweets shared on Tuesday night, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, decided to share just how much he hates Cole in response to a tweet featuring his 2022 track, “Johnny P's Caddy.”
“I hate J Cole music so much,” Ye wrote. “It’s like between Kendrick and J Cole. I bet you industry plants asked J Cole to diss Drake then we would have been accosted with a J Cole Super Bowl commercial with no SZA song to save it.”
“No one listens to J Cole after loosing their virginity,” he added in a separate post.
He continued, “When I met up with Drake during Donda most of the convo was me telling him he was hurting hip hop by giving J Cole a platform and I was saying how much I loved Future.”
It is worth noting that Ye took shots at both Drake and Cole on the unauthorized remix he did of "Like That" back in 2024. "I can't even think of a Drake line/Play J.Cole get the p***y dry," he rapped on the song.
As far as Cole, he has a complicated history with Ye. The Dreamville boss made it know that he’s a fan of Ye's but has also been critical of the 47-year-old rapper, mentioning him on the 2016 song "False Prophets" and again on 2019’s "Middle Child."
Elsewhere in his rant, Ye took a moment to address another issue he's mentioned in the past: his children. He did so in response to a screenshot, which appears to be from Khloe Kardashian, commenting on how "so grown up" 11-year-old North West looks in a particular photo she shared.
"It’s difficult when you know you’re children are being indoctrinated and used," he wrote. "People know why I went crazy Now I’m in a place where I have to dissociate or go to jail And I bet not one Kamala supporting pro black celebrity say anything on me or my kids behalf If a group of prominent black stars stood up I could save my kids from all this Yall watch these white and white passing women run use indoctrinate and traffic these black kids and tell me “this is what I signed up for."
In the past week or so, the artist formerly known as Kanye West was seen wearing KKK-style attire in an interview with DJ Akademiks and released a video for his song "WW3." The clip features a repurposed scene from the 1977 miniseries Roots and is blended with a depiction of a nude woman being whipped.
