Wiz Khalifa is opening up about his unique take on sobriety.

The rapper, 36, appeared on the Cuhmunity podcast on Monday to talk about his new mixtape Khali Sober and revealed he quit drinking eight months ago. “I completely stopped [drinking] and I just do shrooms and smoke weed now. It’s been going really good, I’ve been trying to stop drinking for a long time now,” he said.

Wiz explained his decision to quit drinking came from avoiding sips between recording takes in the studio and stopping altogether after occasional lapses during performances and family events. He successfully put his sobriety to the test on the road during the High School Reunion Tour with Snoop Dogg over the summer.
