Trina’s husband Swurv was arrested for an alleged assault that happened nearly two years ago.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the rapper, born Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr., was arrested on Thursday (March 20) in Miami over an incident in July 2023.
At the time, a man claimed he was crossing the street when the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star’s black Dodge Charger suddenly stopped in front of a stop sign. The abrupt halt caused the unidentified man’s hand to hit the trunk.
While speaking to law enforcement, the man claimed Swurv became aggressive when he approached the vehicle and eventually followed him to a nearby residence. The individual alleges that Swurv punched his multiple times and fractured his nose.
Swerve was booked after police obtained surveillance footage of the alleged altercation and determined the man’s statements supposedly added up.
Trina, 45, and Swurv quietly tied the knot last year.
