Snoop Dogg’s new album is making an impression on the charts.
Snoop’s Missionary album debuted in the top 10 across several Billboard charts, including Top Album Sales (No. 7), Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (No. 7), and Top Rap Albums (No. 3), and No. 20 on the Album 200 chart, according to Billboard.
The LP, which marks the 53-year-old’s twentieth album and his first full-album collaboration with Dr. Dre since 1993’s Doggystyle, sold 38,000 equivalent album units in its debut week. That number is made up of 20,500 from traditional album sales, 16,500 from streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, and 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units.
For the Top Album Sales chart, which is ranked based on traditional sales, Missionary earned Snoop his highest-charting effort in over 15 years since his 2008 Ego Trippin album.
Snoop’s Missionary album finds itself sandwiched between Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft at No. 6 and K-Pop girl group TWICE’s Strategy landing at No. 8.
