Watch Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega Kiss in Blood-Soaked “Taste” Music Video

Carpenter's new album "Short 'n Sweet" is out now.

When they’re not trying to kill each other, Sabrina Carpenter seems to get close with Jenna Ortega in her latest music video.

On Friday, the 25-year-old pop starlet released the music video for “Taste” off of her new album, Short n’ Sweet.

In the Dave Meyers-directed visual, which co-stars the 21-year-old Wednesday star, the women engage in what can be described as a blood-soaked, murder-revenge fantasy that nods to 1992’s Death Becomes Her and Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 classic Psycho.

It appears that both ladies are fighting over their two-timing “Beloved Boyfriend,” played by Halloween Ends actor Rohan Campbell, 26.

After several multiple attempts to finish each other off, the two ladies somehow end up locking lips before Ortega slices the boyfriend up with a chainsaw. It’s worth noting that he somehow actually ends up dead on the first try, unlike Carpenter and Ortega.

The two end up at his funeral and gossip about the “trauma” he put them through and how “insecure” he was while alive.

Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Short ‘n Sweet, featuring “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste” is available now. Complex will hold pop-up shops in L.A. in celebration of her highly-anticipated album beginning August 23 through August 25.
