Rapper T-Rex experienced a medical emergency mid-performance.
A terrifying video making the rounds online shows the veteran battle rapper, born Randy Sullivan, becoming short of breath before falling to the floor mid-cypher.
The incident took place during a headlining battle between Rex and Geechi Gotti for the NOME XV event in New York City on Sunday (June 22) at the Gramercy Theatre.
Some users online suspect that the rapper suffered a seizure. Others believe he had a heat stroke after temperatures in New York City climbed into the high 90s. Per TMZ, Rex reportedly asked for a bottle of water before the match began.
Rex’s opponent, Geechi Gotti, said he would be visiting Rex at the hospital but did not provide additional details on his condition.
It seems that Rex is on the mend, as the rapper has been posting on his X account following the incident.
