Premiere: Ryan Castro and Manuel Turizo Team Up in “Menos El Cora” Music Video

The Colombian hitmakers link up for a Carribean-inspired, post-break up anthem taken from Castro's sophomore album, "Sendé."

Ryan Castro returns with new music as the music video for “Menos El Cora,” his collaboration with Manuel Turizo, premieres exclusively at Complex.

Directed by longtime creative partner Felipe Mejia—who helmed videos like “Monastery” with Feid, and the Peso Pluma-assisted “Quema”—the visual sees the Colombian hitmakers beat their post-break up blues by partying on a yacht as they soak up the sun.

“Menos El Cora” appears on Castro’s sophomore album Sendé, an 18-track project that doubles as a love letter to Curaçao, where the reggaetón star lived, worked, and underwent a creative rebirth.

Sendé is a very personal project that reflects everything I lived and learned in Curaçao,” said Castro in a press statement. “It's full of feeling, Caribbean influences and that dancehall flow that has always identified me. The title comes from Papiamento and it means ‘feeling good’ with good vibes, and that's exactly what I want to transmit.”

Castro has made big moves since his humble beginnings as a street performer in Medellín. He made his breakthrough with the single “Morena,” which was followed by chart-toppers like “Mujeriego” and “Jordan,” which landed on the Billboard Global 200 and Spotify’s Top 50 Global chart.

In 2024, Castro’s debut album El Cantante Del Ghetto was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA. Shortly after, he embarked on a sold-out U.S. tour with fellow reggaeton artist Blessd, and released the viral hit “El Ritmo Que Nos Une,” the official Copa América anthem for Colombia. That same year, Rolling Stone named him one of its “Future 25” artists.

Ryan Castro’s new album Sendé is out today.
