King Combs has shared that he believes his father, Diddy, might be released from prison in time for the holidays.
On Monday (November 24), while speaking to a TMZ photographer at LAX, the 27-year-old was asked about any upcoming holiday plans he might have in honor of his father.
"We gon play the 'Diddy Free' joint whole Christmas, whole Thanksgiving," he said, before adding: "He coming home, though. Watch out, he might come home before then."
The TMZ photographer pried further, asking whether President Donald Trump would step in or if he has had any contact with the administration. "You never know," Combs said coyly. "Stay tuned, he gon' be home soon."
New images and video of Diddy at the low-security Fort Dix facility in New Jersey recently surfaced online, where he is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two federal counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution.
It was also previously reported that Diddy’s release date was pushed from May 2028 to June 4, 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons.
Last month, TMZ reported that a high-ranking official from the White House said President Trump was supposedly "vacillating" on a decision to commute Diddy’s sentence. "Trump will do what he wants," the source purportedly said.
However, the White House denied TMZ’s claim. The outlet reaffirmed their reporting shortly after, writing: "We stand by our story. Our story is accurate."
As for King Combs, the young rapper recently released a music video for his Kanye West-produced track "Kim," which is dedicated to his late mother, Kim Porter. The visual, which was directed by Kaito, has been watched over 1.5 million times on YouTube since its release last week.
"Kim, I love you, mama," King Combs raps in the opening seconds of the song, taken from his Never Stop EP. "Things ain't been the same here without you, mama."
