Jay Park is responding to online backlash over claims that he is too involved with his K-pop boy group LNGSHOT.

Just a day after announcing his joint tour with the rookie group, Park addressed criticism across a series of posts on X, while pushing back on narratives that he overshadows the group or undermines their independence.

“Middle finger picture, tory lanez, facetime music video, Serenades & Bodyrolls tour [tired face emojis],” the 39-year-old wrote on Wednesday (June 10). “100,000’s of albums sold, 4 projects out, 300 mill + plays on spotify, thousands of fans singing along at shows, booked and busy all while being able to be themselves from a “nugu” company [smiling face with sunglasses emoji] debuted 5 months ago. These boiz are gon take over.”

Park is referring to several controversies since LNGSHOT made their debut, including a photo of the members holding up their middle fingers, an interview where member Woojin called Tory Lanez his “role model.” and their “FaceTime” music video where they performed alongside young female backup dancers.

He followed with a sarcastic response to accusations about control and ownership.

“Next i will officially induct myself into LNGSHOT cause that has been my goal all along and nobody can stop me cause i own the company and made the group muahahahahahahahahahaha,” he joked, before adding, “I been doin this for 20 years lol who u think knows better? Me or u? All the narratives yall paint online means NOTHING in real life. Just enjoy the music and the ride. If not watch from the sidelines. Peace and love have a blessed day. Almost done with my fast [slightly smiling face emoji].”

He continued in a separate post, writing, “Also to my fans i appreciate yall alot! But dont have to feel any type of way or try to defend me. Online chatter never stopped me from gettin booked. Also dont have to feel any type of way towards the boiz cause the online narrative does not represent how they feel. The boiz respect and are always grateful towards me and I respect and will look after the boiz when need be. We a family and we solid [fist emoji] not fake online family but real real family. [100 emoji]”

Park then pushed back on suggestions that he should step back from the group, insisting that LNGSHOT “have a career cause i built something to give them.”

In a separate post, Park suggested his critics want him to “shut up and jiggle My pecs” and “demean” him.

He closed his response with a final post showing him shirtless in bed, adding: "When u see online shit and think its a big deal but in reality everyones just on their bed with their fone enjoyin the toxicity [winking face with tongue emoji].”

LNGSHOT, formed under Jay Park's More Vision label, consists of members Ohyul, 20, Ryul, 19, Woojin, 18, and Louis, 16.

The group officially debuted in January 2026 with their single "Moonwalkin'." Since then, they have promoted through music shows, festivals, and collaborations that have often featured Jay Park.

LNGSHOT will serve as an opening act for Park’s 2026 Serenades & Body Rolls World Tour across Latin America, North America, Europe, and the UK starting September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil.
