Fuerza Regida were celebrated at Variety Hitmakers 2025 with the Humanitarian Award.

The Grammy-nominated powerhouse group received the award on Saturday (Dec. 6) in honor of their dedication to underserved communities in the U.S. and Mexico.

The recognition placed them among other major Hitmakers honorees such as Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler the Creator, Rosé, Mustard, and The Marías.

In their acceptance speech, frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) looked back on the group's journey and values, saying, "We've gotten a lot of awards, we've got a lot of nominations. We actually have the highest Mexican album charting globally. But this award is the most important award because we are for the people. This is our dream."

He continued, "I wanna say some words that my dad told me once when I was a little kid. He told me ... 'Where one eats, everybody eats.’"

The honor capped a milestone year in which the “Marlboro Rojo” hitmakers released their ninth studio album 111XPANTIA in May. The 12-track set debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest charting Spanish-language album by a duo or group ever, according to Billboard.

The band then climbed into the Spotify Top 10 Global Artists of 2025, became the most-streamed artists in Mexico, and received Harvard University's prestigious Trailblazer Award.
