Dame Dash Talks Dental Issues in New Interview: 'By the Time Y'all See This, I'll Have New Teeth'

Elsewhere in the podcast, Dash directed his attention to his issues with Cam'ron.

Dame Dash gave his fans an update on his health, before turning his attention towards Cam’ron.

In part one of his new Bosses Take Losses episode that premiered on Tuesday (September 2), Dash opens by explaining his health situation while appearing on camera with an eye patch.

“Yesterday I got a surgery in my eye because I had to remove liquid that's in my eye because I'm diabetic,” he said at the top of the episode. “You can diabetes-shame me if you want, but other diabetics can relate.

“You get these things that are called floaters in your eye, and I got gel—everyone does in their eye, it makes the blood stay there, so they had to take the gel out,” he added.

From there, the 54-year-old also detailed his ongoing dental struggles, saying that he had five implants break in his mouth, which he insists has nothing to do with his age.

“Get your jokes, but know that right now I'm in my dentist office and tomorrow, I'm getting a surgery and hopefully by the time y'all see this, I'll have some new teeth,” he said.

Dash directed the remainder of the episode at Cam’ron, saying he has tried to reach him privately about their issues to no avail.

“Cam's been talking a lot. Sometimes it's complimentary, but a lot of time this thing is that I don't think that we should be speaking about publicly,” Dash said. “I haven't called him a lot, but when I did call, he doesn't pick up, and I think he's publicly said he doesn't pick up my calls.”

He also rejected Cam’s critique of his 2018 film Honor Up, saying, “Since Rocafella, I haven’t seen you make a hit record,” while challenging him to go “album for album” or “movie for movie.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Dash reminded Cam of his role in starting Dipset clothing, saying they were “supposed to be partners in that, but you went around and did it without me.” He also questioned why Cam now works with Revolt after saying he didn’t “want anything to do” with the company.

“What I'm seeing you're doing on your platform is just tearing down other Black men. I'm seeing you sit with your ops and talk about your brothers,” Dash said. “That's not what I would advise you to use your platform. Teach when you're on your platform. You know, don't tear people down. You know what I mean? You know, make them better.”

“If you're gonna make money off it, make it good money … This is the advice I would give you if I could talk to you, but I'm just noticing that every person that you have a problem with is Black. And you talk about them when they're not in the room, and that's just not Harlem shit,” he added.

In an episode of Cam’ron’s Talk With Flee podcast shared last week, Cam explained at the 18-minute mark linked here that his issues with Dash come from a number of different incidents, including a fight between Dash and Mase and an exaggerated story about 50 Cent supposedly smacking Cam “on the ass.”

Cam also admitted to refusing to promote Honor Up, saying he was “saving [Dash] by not promoting it.”

“If you want to come on Talk with Flee and talk, we're here. I'm available. I love you, brother,” he said at the end of the episode.
