Cardi B is telling fans to stop rushing her for new music and appearances after her tour, saying she needs time to rest and reset.

During a X Spaces livestream on Saturday (May 23), the rapper criticized her fans for expecting her to immediately return to the limelight despite how demanding her Little Miss Drama Tour was.

“I don't know if y'all becoming a little bit greedy, I don't know what the fuck is y'all thinking. But y'all expect me to do a 100 gazillion things every single fucking other day, every single fucking other week. And y'all need to relax, okay?” Cardi, 33, said in the audio linked above.

The Am I the Drama? rapper explained that she was “barely” home for most of 2026, having kicked off her concert tour in February. She continued by describing the intensity of her schedule during that time, including travel, two-hour performances, post-show meet-and-greets, afterparties, and limited rest while on the road.

“I had to do that shit every single fucking day for three months,” Cardi said. “Single, so I didn't have nobody entertaining me. Just working, working, working, working.”

Since wrapping up the tour last month, Cardi insists that she has not stopped working creatively and has been working on new music.

“I've been writing new music every single day while I'm in my house,” she explained. I'm hearing beats, I'm going through different ideas. I'm going through things because I want to make sure that my next single or music that I'm going to put out—because I really, really want to put out a project, but I'm just not going to put no bullshit out.”

Cardi said that her focus is to balance time with her four children, personal recovery, and rebuilding creatively. She described spending her free time going to spas, getting massages, going to the movies, and simply staying home to reset. She also notes she has been taking pole classes and working out to improve her strength, even though fans may not see her document it online.

“But complaining, complaining, complaining. Leave me the fuck alone. I need to make up lost times with my kids and myself. And it's very selfish that y’all constantly complaining,” Cardi said.

“Y'all expect me to be a machine every single fucking day and it's not fair, and I don't like that,” she added. “Like I love y’all down, I love y'all to death, but when y'all make me feel like I'm being pressured to do something, it gives me anxiety. And y'all giving me anxiety and it doesn't make me move faster. It doesn't motivate me, it doesn't make me do nothing … But because y'all not fucking seeing me or y'all not seeing me doing nothing, y’all just think I'm out here all day playing with my pussy and sucking dick. And it's not fair. Let me chill.”

“Y'all complain about every fucking thing … I'm making up lost time with my kids that I was on tour. You think because I was seeing them on tour one or two days or three or four days, that's enough? Bitch, no. And it's annoying, and it really pissed me off because it's like, ‘Damn, these n****s is mad selfish.’ It's only been a month, I'm popping out!”

Cardi concluded her livestream by telling her fans that she will soon be asking for “a budget for new videos and new promos cuz I want new shit to come out.”
