Camila Cabello is responding to Fifth Harmony’s surprise reunion.
The 28-year-old singer, who departed the group at the end of 2016, commented four red heart emojis on the group’s Instagram page.
The surprise appearance took place during the Jonas Brothers' Greetings from Your Hometown Tour stop in Dallas on Sunday (Aug. 31).
“Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back,” the group wrote.
The onstage reunion featured Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, and Ally Brooke performing their hits “Worth It” and “Work from Home” without Cabello. (Cabello performed a headlining concert in Sydney on Saturday as part of her Yours, C Tour.)
In May, the group was reported to be in talks to reunite formally, with multiple sources telling The Hollywood Reporter that the plans do not include Cabello.
The group originally formed on the American edition of The X Factor in 2012 and became one of the decade’s best-selling girl groups with platinum-certified albums Reflection and 7/27.
Cabello left the group in 2016 in pursuit of a solo career. The remaining members went on to release a self-titled album in 2017 that spawned the singles “Down” featuring Gucci Mane, “Angel,” and “He Like That.”
The group announced an indefinite hiatus the following year as the members pursued solo projects.
Cabello enjoyed solo success with hits like “Havana” with Young Thug, “Señorita” with Shawn Mendes, and “My Oh My” featuring DaBaby.
Normani, who released her oft-delayed debut album Dopamine last June, also landed hits with “Motivation,” “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B, and “Love Lies” with Khalid.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the new iteration of Fifth Harmony is eyeing a 2026 comeback to mark the 10th anniversary of their album 7/27 and its mega-hit “Work From Home.” Plans reportedly include a documentary chronicling the group's return, plus a tour.
