A newly-resurfaced video shows a young Billie Eilish worrying she might not love a future boyfriend more than Justin Bieber.
In an undated clip making the rounds online, Eilish is seen with her childhood dog Pepper, concerned about her future love life and how he might not measure up to the Canadian pop singer.
“So many Justin Bieber things. I was, like, crying so hard cause I'm worried that when I get a boyfriend. I won't want to be with him because I actually love Justin Bieber more,” Eilish says in the clip.
The video is resurfacing just days after a shocked and overwhelmed Eilish was brought up on stage for Justin’s Coachella Weekend 2 set (April 18), where he dedicated his 2009 hit “One Less Lonely Girl” to her.
Eilish first met her childhood idol at the 2019 edition of Coachella and worked together on the remix for her single “Bad Guy.”
"Anything that he makes at all, I'm excited about," Billie said during a 2020 interview. "I don't care if he pooped and put it on a plate and put that in a store. I'm excited! Anything that Justin makes, I'm ready to go."
Also that year, while speaking with Zane Lowe, Bieber said of Eilish, “She's crazy, she's a superstar. I wanted to protect the moment, we never know how many opportunities we're gonna get with anybody. I'm tearing up thinking about it just with the Kobe situation... You just never know. I just wanted to be a good example.”
“I definitely feel protective of her,” he continued. “It was hard for me, being that young and being in the industry and not knowing where to turn. And everyone, you know, telling me they loved me and just turning their back on you in a second. So it’s hard because I want her to know that she can count on me."
For his second Coachella set (April 18), Bieber also brought out surprise guests Sexyy Red to perform “Sweet Spot,” Big Sean for “As Long as You Love Me” and “No Pressure,” and SZA for “Snooze.”
