Azealia Banks responded to a former fan’s call for a boycott by doubling down on her anti-Muslim comments.

The X user behind fan page @azealia_tiktok, which was once dedicated to sharing updates and memes of the 34-year-old rapper, recently called for fans and other music enthusiasts to stop playing Banks’ music over her recent wave of anti-Muslim and Islamophobic posts on social media.

“Friendly reminder to remove 212, luxury, liquorice, new bottega, et al. from your dj sets & playlists #BoycottAzealiaBanks,” wrote the fan account on Monday (Nov. 3), along with a photo of Banks performing with a “prohibited” emoji over her face.

The photo also included screenshots of posts from Banks reading, “Everytime they say something bad about me another Palestinian child dies” and “I fucking hate Muslims I think you guys are pitiful and all deserve the gas chamber.”

Banks responded, “I don’t make music for Muslims honey.”

In a follow-up tweet, the former fan wrote, “love that she blocked me but still checks on my posts … also I’m not even muslim… I’m a christian honey boo.”

To another critic, who called the rapper “genuinely too dumb” over her anti-Muslim statements, Banks wrote, “Honey, Islam does NOT scare me. I have Machetes and Guns. Don't let the chicken closet become the Muslim closet.”

Last month, Banks shared another offensive message: "It feels great to hate Islam so openly. Lmfao I've always thought u bitches were weird kid fuckers and a bunch of gay n****s in robes sandals and eyeliner.... Lmfao"

In June, the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper declared herself a Zionist with an X post before saying fans would not be getting “some performative ‘free Palestine’ shit” out of her.

“Sorry but I’m never going to be Pro-Islam anything so long as Arab/Muslim countries hold black people in chains. I dunno WHY you guys keep asking me the same Question. I’m pro Israel . Goodnight don’t ask me again,” she wrote at the time.
