Azealia Banks is blasting Claressa Shields’ pregnancy plans with Papoose. The pro-boxer, 30, shared her enthusiasm for starting a family earlier this week on her X account, writing, “I can’t wait to get pregnant, you heaux gonna be so mad. Going to be crying in the car, punching the steering wheel crying 😂😂😂.”

Shields’ comments did not sit well with the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper, who fired off a lengthy tweet of her own targeting Papoose, who is reportedly still legally married to Remy Ma.

"There’s no honor in getting pregnant by someone’s husband sis. I know you’re ugly and a brick and not used to male attention but he’s using you as a body guard,” Banks wrote in a quote-tweet.

“You will get pregnant with that man’s child and he will go chase Remy. The fact he’s even allowing you to make this much of a fool of yourself is proof he doesn’t give a fuck about you. Men who really want you make other problems with other women disappear,” she continued. “You think you’re losing it now YOURE REALLY GONNA LOSE IT when you realize it was all bullshit. Because any man who knows he can have you while being married knows he can have you while being married.”

Banks concluded, “It really is giving ugly girl getting her first kiss on the cheek and u need to chill. Lmao This is where the line must be drawn. Pregnancy as a war tactic is GHETTOOOOOO. Your kid will read this. Delete."

Shields has yet to respond to Banks’ comments.

However, in a separate tweet, Shields wrote, “No one else happiness makes me mad 😂 so why does my happiness upset people. I’m in a happy relationship, folks mad. Happy with my career folks mad & jealous! Making money 🤑 spending it too folks mad again 😂😂😂! Like why.”

She also revealed her “magic number” is four, before confirming she wants to have four children.

In July, Shields made an appearance on The Pivot podcast where she openly discussed wanting to have children with Papoose in 2026.

"I don’t want to wait till I’m, you know, 40, 43, whatever, after my career, to have my kids," Shields said at the time. "I want to be able to run at the park with my kids and stuff like that. I don't want to be too old.”

The two-time Olympic gold medalist also clarified she plans to temporarily pause her boxing career for her pregnancy but does not intend to retire.

The Michigan native, who went public with her relationship with Papoose in December 2024, denied speculation that she “disrupted a happy household” between Papoose and Remy Ma, calling the idea of fighting over a man “a stupid narrative” on the podcast.

“[You make] it seem like I’m somebody that came in and disrupted a happy household when I didn’t,” she said elsewhere on The Pivot podcast. “That’s not what happened.”

“We're always connected. So it's not like we're fighting over a man or anything like that. Like, that's a stupid narrative. I'm a grown ass woman and I'm a good-looking woman who's successful. I don't got to fight over no man.”
