Ottawa Rapper TwoTiime Brings the "Juice" in New Single

Rising Ottawa rapper TwoTiime has returned with a new resilience anthem, "Juice." He recently become the first Canadian to sign to WorldStar Records.

Rising Ottawa rapper TwoTiime is making the most of a tough situation. After dropping “Did A Lot,” a song about his grueling come-up, last month, he’s back with a new resilience anthem, “Juice.”

Produced by Almighty Nate, VVS Melody, and frequent collaborator Glory Gainz, the bouncy track has TwoTiime reflect on the times he’s self-medicated with booze and weed in order to cope with the pains and hardships of life—all while knowing it’s a fool’s errand, unlikely to change things in any meaningful way.

“If you listen to the lyrics, it touches on me going through a lot of things, and doing anything I can to numb the pain,” TwoTiime says. “That could be drinking a juice or smoking some cali. Doing all that just to heal my pain. I know it’s not going to work, but I know it’ll help in the moment.”

The song is accompanied by a new music video shot in Ottawa, and helmed by MyNameFrench / Reel Sauce. “It’s more of a fast based song, but nothing too crazy or out of our range. Mostly we were just trying to keep it clean. You’ll have to wait for the video to drop to really see what it’s about,” the rapper says.

TwoTiime recently became the first Canadian signed to WorldStarHipHop
Distribution. “Juice” is the second single he’s released through them. He tells us he’s currently working on his debut project, set to drop later this year.
