Rita Ora Gets Hilariously Mistaken for Post Malone

As the poet and scholar Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus once said: everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days.

Whoever accidently used a photo of Rita Ora instead of Post Malone for The Hollywood Reporter is definitely having one of those days, but it’s all good, because it’s a really funny mistake.

Where did this uncanny photo of Rita Ora dressed up as Post Malone come from? This past Halloween the singer decided to dress up as Posty, face tattoos and all, with a beer in hand. Everyone praised Ora for clearly pulling off one of the best costumes of 2018. Just look at it:

The costume was so good, someone at THR couldn't tell the difference, and used a photo of Ora in costume as part of the lead image announcing this year’s Grammy performers. Malone is performing at the award show on Feb. 10.

To be fair, there are few photos of the “Sunflower” rapper on Getty images, so it’s totally understandable their team was looking for something different. But people on Twitter can't let anyone live, so THR was quickly made fun of for the innocuous mistake, which was quickly corrected. Some even suggest Ora might be a better Post Malone than Malone himself. Check out the reactions below.
