The sudden news of Mac Miller’s death continues to affect fans and artists who loved the late Pittsburg star, who once bragged, “I'm still playing it out the same speakers/I did it all without a Drake feature,” on his 2014 track “Here We Go.” Last night, Drake dedicated his show in Boston to Miller. “I want to dedicate this show to my late friend Mac Miller who was always a kind man,” he said before performing his song “Emotionless.” "We about to go in for Mac tonight."

Drake joins a chorus of artists—including Chance the Rapper, J.Cole, Kid Cudi, The Internet, Solange, and more—who mourned a rapper known by many as one of the friendliest around.

Miller's body was discovered Friday afternoon in his San Fernando Valley home and was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene following an apparent overdose. He was 26.

"Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26," his family said in a statement to Complex on Friday. "He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time."
