Lyrical Lemonade has released the Cole Bennett-directed music video for Lil Durk’s 7220 track “What Happened to Virgil” featuring Gunna.
The video opens with a quote from the late Virgil Abloh that reads: “Life is so short that you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do versus knowing what you can do.” The Off-White founder and artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton passed away on November 28, 2021 following a battle with cancer. He was 41 years old.

The track was produced by Chopsquad DJ. Durk’s seventh studio album 7220 was released back in March and debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 by earning 120,500 album-equivalent units, marking the first time the rapper achieved the feat with a solo project. Future, Summer Walker, and Morgan Wallen also appeared on 7220.
In 2021, Durk’s collaborative album with Lil Baby, The Voice of the Heroes, debuted atop the chart. The Voice of the Heroes featured Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave.
