Obama Urges Alabamians to Vote for the Guy Who Isn't an Accused Child Molester

For some reason, choosing between an alleged child molester and a Democrat is a tough decision for Alabama.

Barack Obama has urged Alabamians to vote for the guy who isn't an accused child molester. Obama recorded a phone message ahead of Tuesday's Alabama Senate election touting Democratic candidate Doug Jones as a "champion for justice," CNNreported. Jones, as previously reported, has been hit with exactly zero sexual abuse allegations.

Republican candidate and confirmed dolt Roy Moore (pictured above), however, has been hit with several. An explosive Washington Postreport in November included the account of a woman who said she was 14 when Moore initiated a "sexual encounter" with her. Moore was 32 at the time. Moore has also been accused of multiple instances of sexual assault or harassment by other women, several of whom were under 18 when Moore first approached them. "This one's serious," Obama said in the phone message. "You can't sit it out." Moore is not mentioned by name in the call.

In a bizarre grasping-for-straws attempt at defense, a Roy Moore campaign spokesperson told CNN last week that voters should simply think of all the women on the planet who haven't accused Moore of predatory behavior. "We need to make it clear that there's a group of non-accusers, that have not accused the judge of any sexual misconduct or anything illegal," this spokesperson said with a straight face.

Tuesday's Alabama Senate race has become a national talking point in recent weeks, with many pointing out Trump's troubling (albeit predictable) decision to publicly support Moore. Of course, Trump himself has been accused of sexual assault and harassment by multiple women. In an infamous Access Hollywood recording that is absolutely real despite Trump's belated claims otherwise, the failed steak salesman bragged about his ill-earned fame granting him the right to grab women "by the pussy."
