In all fairness, I could probably just type "shark video" right here and leave it at that. But, for the sake of sharks everywhere, let's give this latest viral video of a shark doing shark shit some context.
The video was originally uploaded by the self-described "kids content" YouTube channel Gabe and Garrett before inevitably making its way toUproxx and other fellow purveyors of shark videos. Why? Because we get to see a fucking shark doing shark shit!
The shark in this particular video is of the great white variety, simply trying to munch on some tuna near Guadalupe Island when a goddamn cage gets in the way. A breach of said cage then occurs, resulting in the viral vibes of the video. According to a breakdown of the events from the video's uploader, the diver remained enviably calm during the whole thing.
"So this shark lunged at the bait, accidentally hit the side of the cage, was most likely confused and not able to swim backwards, it thrust forward and broke the metal rail of the cage [sic]," the video's description explains. "There was a single diver inside the cage. He ended up outside the bottom of the cage, looking down on two great white sharks. The diver is a very experienced dive instructor, remained calm, and when the shark thrashed back outside the cage, the diver calmly swam back up and climbed out completely uninjured."
I'm no expert but, um, maybe sharks just aren't down with all these humans hanging out in their house? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
