Early Wednesday, Michael Bloomberg—an objectively terrible presidential candidate—announced that he was abandoning his bid for the White House following expectedly poor showings on Super Tuesday. Bloomberg also let loose an endorsement of Joe Biden.
"Three months ago, I entered the race to defeat Donald Trump," Bloomberg said in a statement. "Today, I'm leaving for the same reason. Defeating Trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it. It's clear that is my friend and a great American, Joe Biden."
Bloomberg added that he was "immensely proud" of his campaign and "deeply grateful" for those who bothered to vote for him, but who gives a shit. Also of note here is the fact that Bloomberg had spent an estimated $500 million on campaign ads since jumping into the race back in November, with Advertising Analytics-cited data showing that roughly a quarter of a billion dollars was focused solely on Super Tuesday states.
Among the highlights of his brief campaign were repeated reminders of his horrendous track record as mayor of New York and the debate delivery of quickly-made-viral criticism from Sen. Elizabeth Warren focused on his use of non-disclosure agreements.

Michael Bloomberg has become a favorable candidate for black voters.
Not that it matters, but Trump also said some mockery-centered shit about Bloomberg dropping out, though it's presumably safe to say they'll just cackle about it all on the golf course together at some point in the near future.
