Barack and Michelle Obama Photographed Chilling Extremely Hard in the Caribbean

Now THIS is how to kick back after 8 years in the White House.

Damn. You ever been to Sir Richard Branson's private island? I hear it's nice. Former POTUS and FLOTUS Barack and Michelle Obama are currently kicking back in the Caribbean after touching down on Branson's Necker Island last month, TMZreported Tuesday. Naturally, visual evidence has emerged of said kicking back, and it does not disappoint.

Necker Island, according toPeople, spans 74 acres and includes a resort dope enough to accommodate as many as 30 guests. Robert De Niro, Mariah Carey, and Kate Moss are among the high-profile individuals to have previously booked the island for some downtime. None of those people, however, have been POTUS or FLOTUS before.

The Obamas, judging by these photos, are certainly enjoying their well-earned time away from the increasing insanity of present-day America:

I'm definitely jealous. Still, even amid heightened levels of chill, Barack Obama spoke out Monday in support of protesters and against Trump's Muslim ban:

"President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country," Obama's spokesperson Kevin Lewis shared. "In his final official speech as President, he spoke about the important role of citizen and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy—not just during an election but every day."
